What makes you feel empty?

For me, the thing that made my mind feel empty was being in the rain that fell for no reason. Being alone with the sound of the rain is what I hate the most. I have no reason to hate it. All I know is that I can't live all day surrounded by the sound of rain and humidity like that.

I feel empty when I'm in a social situation where they pretend to accept me, but in the end, they're just following societal norms. When I realize that's not where I belong but feel compelled to stay, forcing myself like that makes me feel empty.
